Hey and thanks for stopping by Art Pickins !

Art Pickins are samples of original art that I create – usually between 5 am and 7 am.

I have written tons of technique articles, two books Creative Beads from Paper and Fabric (C & T) and Totally Cool Origami (Sterling). I have accumulated an enormous pile of original art that needs to benefit someone. So while,I have a day job (vice president of something at a company in Winston -Salem), the art is for sale.

I have decided to make the works highly affordable and also to assign 1/3 of the profits from it’s sale to benefit  a Kick in the Grass - a charity created for kids who play soccer, football or lacrosse here in the Triad region who want to play, but whose families may be economically unable to support their wishes. Soccer created a huge change in my live – giving me strength and confidence after my father passed away, and it is something that everyone who wants to, should be able to play competitively… It’s not a business when you are 12, it is a game.
