A Brief Bio:

Ann Krier mixed media artist, is a self-taught, creative industry professional.  Her publications include: Creative Beads from Fabric and Paper, (C & T) and Totally Cool Origami Animals (Sterling).  In 2010, she began a series of self-directed adventures in painting with anything from coffee to alcohol markers. This play time has forced a huge transition from author/crafter to mixed media artist. The resulting body of work and her studio are otherwise known as ‘Whimsyville’.

Krier is a graduate of Muskingum University in Ohio, and lives in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina with her husband, two of three children, their golden retriever, Murphy and a kitty called Gloves. She enjoys outside adventures, oyster roasts but especially, the beach, flip flops and margaritas…

  1. I absolutely love your precious angel works. The craft and collage elements are really well done. In my own work recently I’ve been exploring angel-like imagery. Your pieces are each so unique and beautiful. Where do you have them for sale?

    take care,
    Jennifer
